Internal Controls Analyst

You will perform global scoping assessments, coordinate walkthroughs, conduct internal control testing, and collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization. • Perform global scoping assessments, coordinate and manage the organization and preparation of walkthroughs, and perform internal control testing to meet the design and operating effectiveness requirements of SOX.
• Work with colleagues from international locations and co-source partners to ensure a global and consistent approach to control design and testing is applied throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with the GPOs team to ensure global processes and controls are consistently applied across different regions, and work effectively with multiple stakeholders across the organization.
• Experience of testing SOX controls, with understanding of latest PCAOB requirements
• Collaborative approach, with strong multi-cultural empathy
• Strong understanding of testing and sampling methodology
• Experience of working in an audit function, either in Internal Audit, External Audit or Controls function
• Confident, motivated and self-starter
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal
• Proficient with Excel/Power BI/data scripting/querying
• Ability to build strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders
• Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
• Strong organisational skills
• Qualification by relevant governing body (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)
• High professional ethics and commitment to improving risk culture
• Positive attitude and comfortable managing ambiguity and conflicting priorities
• Experience of US GAAP accounting standards
• Previous experience of working with Oracle
• Experience of driving automation/data analytics/AI in testing
