Paralegal (Trade Compliance)

• Administering incoming Know Your Customer flag clearance requests from the business and overall responsibility for administering the central inbox/service desk.
• Supporting with reviews of potential compliance concerns in relation to customers, and seeking to resolve those where possible in line with AVEVA’s risk appetite.
• Ensuring high standards of record-keeping to document legal decision-making and carrying out ad-hoc legal research to support live issues.
• Willingness to learn, be flexible to changing priorities and demonstrate excellence every day in your work
• Solid computer skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Excellent organisational skills
• Qualifying Law Degree or equivalent, or Paralegal Studies qualification
• Experience in maintaining high ethical and compliance standards within an organisation
• Fluent in English language (written and spoken)
• A proven track record of managing a varied workload and meeting deadlines
• Excellent written communication skills
• Excellent legal research skills
• Legal Practice Course (nice to have)
• Prior paralegal experience (nice to have)
