In this role, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team to enhance the platform, design and develop back-end services, optimize application performance, and provide technical guidance. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in software engineering, proficiency in object-oriented programming, and a strong interest in EdTech.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and launch new features and improvements across the <Education.com> platform.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust back-end services, alongside rich user interfaces, while optimizing application performance.
• Provide technical guidance, conduct design and code reviews, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive experience building platforms that can adapt and scale to facilitate rapid growth
• 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering, preferably in a high-traffic web environment
• Proficiency in object oriented programming
• Strong interest in EdTech and improving learning outcomes through technology
• Excellent analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, such as Node, React, and NextJS
• Detailed understanding of RESTful API design
• Familiarity with document oriented databases, such as MongoDB
• Familiarity with AWS services, such as EC2, S3, and RDS
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Detailed understanding of relational database systems, such as MySQL
