Software Engineer (Dictionary.com)

• Collaborate with a team of engineers to design, develop, and implement software solutions for <Dictionary.com>.
• Build and maintain the back-end wiring, application logic, and user interface for various products.
• Provide accurate estimates, evaluate feasibility, and assess new platforms and technologies for project implementations.
• Strong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Passion for improving education through technology
• Modern best practices in JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Knowledge of MongoDB and Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus
• Excellent programming skills in Java or other object-oriented language
• Strong communication skills
