Software Engineer (Rosetta Stone)

As a Software Engineer, you will work on adding new features to our successful products, building back-end wiring, application logic, and UI. You will collaborate with multiple development teams and have a passion for technology and language learning.

• Collaborate with a team of engineers to design, develop, and implement new features for Rosetta Stone products.
• Build the back-end wiring, application logic, and UI for the products, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
• Provide accurate estimates, evaluate feasibility, and assess new platforms and technologies for project implementations.
• Knowledge of AWS, MySQL, MongoDB, GraphQL/Node, React is a plus
• Modern best practices in Javascript, HTML, and CSS
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering
• Strong communication, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Passion for improving language learning through technology
• Excellent programming skills (e.g. Ruby/Go or Java)
