Senior Director of Strategy

Join Warby Parker as the Senior Director of Strategy, where you will drive long-term growth initiatives and corporate priorities. You will serve as a key advisor to executive leadership, lead a high-performing team, and systematically identify new market opportunities. You will also lead the annual and long-range strategic planning process, track the execution of the strategic plan, and partner cross-functionally with leaders across the organization.

• Lead and mentor a team of strategists, fostering a culture of rigorous analysis and continuous learning while evolving the team’s operating model.
• Systematically scan the horizon to identify and unlock new market opportunities, including potential new business lines, product categories, and geographic expansions.
• Lead the annual and long-range strategic planning process, turning our bold company vision into a clear, actionable roadmap that guides the entire organization.
• A seasoned communicator and storyteller who can influence senior stakeholders through structured thinking and clear, empathetic communication
• A strategic visionary who can connect disparate dots into a coherent view of long-term value creation
• Backed by 11+ years of professional experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or corporate development
• An expert at people development, with a proven track record of building high-performing teams and helping others navigate complex business landscapes
• Not on the Office of Inspector General's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)
• A proactive leader who thrives in ambiguity, balancing a high-level strategic mindset with a willingness to dive into the details of execution
• Prior experience in venture capital, private equity, or luxury and retail industries
• Familiarity with strategic foresight methodologies and applying future-oriented thinking to high-growth environments
