Senior Accountant

Join Elation, a company dedicated to transforming primary care. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the financial backbone of the company, driving systems automation, and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. You will work closely with various departments and report to the VP, Corporate Controller.

• Own core close processes for assigned areas such as cash automation, AP, accruals, and prepaids, ensuring the ledger is audit-ready and compliant.
• Identify and lead automation initiatives for close workflows, leveraging ERP functionality (NetSuite) and building AI agents to improve quality and reduce time-to-close.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to help manage federal and SALT compliance, ensuring a seamless and efficient audit process.
• Technical Mastery: Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
• Systems Expertise: Hands-on experience with NetSuite (preferred) and expert level knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets (required)
• Ownership and Accountability: Ability to own problems end-to-end, exercise sound judgment, and operate with a high degree of autonomy in a lean, fast-paced environment
• Desire to Learn: Someone who is looking to learn and grow in the position
• Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience: 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including experience at a high-growth SaaS environment
• AI Tools: Comfortability and experience with AI tools (would love to hear about any AI agents inside or outside of your work experience)
• Growth Mindset: A proven track record of building and improving processes from scratch, not just maintaining the status quo
