About The Role

Join Lantern, a rapidly growing healthcare company, as the Engagement Analytics Manager. In this role, you will lead the new Engagement Analytics team, focusing on measuring and improving member engagement and care completion. You will own the reporting infrastructure, drive analytical strategy, and partner with operations and member services leadership to translate data into actionable decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced analytics professional looking to make a significant impact in the healthcare industry.

  • Own and evolve the reporting and dashboard infrastructure tracking mid and lower-funnel conversion metrics across member segments, channels, and time periods.
  • Lead ad hoc analyses and synthesize findings for Member Services and Operations leadership, shaping how the business interprets performance data.
  • Define requirements and lead process mapping for analytical projects and new reporting initiatives, ensuring alignment with stakeholder priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication — you can translate complex analysis into clear narratives for senior stakeholders and executive audiences
  • Exposure to healthcare data, CRM data, or member/customer journey analytics
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure where none exists — you thrive in environments where you're writing the playbook, not following one
  • Advanced SQL skills; able to design and optimize complex queries and data models, and guide others in doing the same
  • Hands-on experience building production-grade dashboards and self-serve reporting in a BI tool (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in every deliverable
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, or similar) and a habit of using them to work smarter and reduce manual, repetitive effort
  • Python familiarity for data manipulation (not required but a strong plus)
  • 5+ years of experience in an analytical role, with at least 1-2 years leading or managing analytical work or a team
  • Experience building or scaling an analytics function in a startup or high-growth environment
