Senior Engagement Analytics Analyst
Lantern · New York, United States
About The Role
Join Lantern, a leading mental health platform, as a Senior Engagement Analytics Analyst. In this role, you will be a founding member of the new Engagement Analytics function, responsible for building the analytical infrastructure and delivering insights to improve mid and lower-funnel conversion performance. You will own end-to-end measurement of Lantern's funnel, build and maintain dashboards, identify drop-off points, develop conversion benchmarks, and analyze the performance of member services agents and care coordinators. You will also partner with leadership to define KPIs and translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations.
- Own end-to-end measurement of Lantern's mid and lower funnel, from member identification through provider selection, scheduling, and case completion.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide clear visibility into conversion rates, drop-off points, and performance trends.
- Identify where and why members fall out of the funnel, quantifying the impact and surfacing root causes, and develop conversion benchmarks and targets.
- 3-5 years of experience in an analytics role with a focus on funnel, conversion, or operations performance
- Strong SQL skills — you can independently build complex queries and navigate large relational datasets
- Experience with Python for data manipulation and analysis
- Strong communication skills: you can explain analytical findings clearly to operational stakeholders
- Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or a similar BI tool for dashboard creation
- Proven ability to define measurement frameworks from scratch — you have built tracking and reporting where none existed before
- Comfort leveraging AI-assisted tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, or LLM-powered analytics workflows) to drive personal efficiency and identify opportunities to automate manual processes
- Experience working in an early-stage or newly formed team where building from zero is the expectation
- Background in attribution modeling or multi-touch analysis
- Familiarity with CRM data (Salesforce or similar) and connecting CRM events to analytical outcomes
- Experience in healthcare, member services, or a consumer-facing platform with a multi-step conversion funnel
