About The Role
Join our team as a Senior Accountant and play a crucial role in pushing renewable energy forward. You will work closely with the Director of Accounting to manage all financial operations in a rapidly scaling financial technology company. Your responsibilities will include conducting monthly close, preparing financial statements, developing budgets, managing accounts payable, supporting annual audits, and defining financial processes and controls. You will also manage millions of dollars in commercial-scale solar assets. - Conducting monthly close, preparing monthly financial statements, developing budgets and analyzing spend trends.
- Managing accounts payable, supporting annual audits, addressing technical accounting aspects, and helping define financial processes and controls.
- Managing millions of dollars in commercial-scale solar assets spread across multiple entities.

- A Strong Foundation - You’re a CPA and have 3–7+ years of relevant accounting experience. Your background ideally contains a mix of corporate accounting, renewable energy, and financial services
- Technically Proficient - You enjoy working with large amounts of data and are proficient in Excel
- Detail-Oriented - The quality of our data is paramount. You understand the importance of accuracy, value reporting, and hold yourself to high standards when it comes to precision
- Inquisitive & Autonomous - You have an auditor’s mindset, always eager to “figure things out,” and you have a proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Located in Boulder or Denver, CO - Candidates must currently live in, or be willing to relocate to, the Boulder/Denver area
- Flexible & Responsive - The problem we’re trying to solve as an organization is dynamic and each day brings fresh and exciting challenges. You’re comfortable with ambiguity and can quickly adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
