Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Information Technology)

Join Infleqtion, a leading company in the quantum technology industry, as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. In this hands-on engineering role, you will be responsible for the engineering, administration, and ongoing expansion of our Microsoft Azure infrastructure while supporting our hybrid on-premises and cloud environment. You will work closely with the IT Infrastructure Manager to design, implement, and maintain the cloud platform that supports our global business operations and engineering teams. This position offers the opportunity to work on a modern hybrid cloud environment and contribute to strategic cloud initiatives.

• Deploy and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services, administer hybrid Active Directory, and assist with migrating existing on-premises infrastructure into Microsoft Azure.
• Support Azure SQL Server deployments and future cloud data platform initiatives, monitor system health, availability, and performance while proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational standards, and infrastructure diagrams, and provide technical guidance and support for complex infrastructure issues.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft 365 identity services
• Hands-on experience deploying Azure Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, and related Azure Services
• Experience migrating servers or applications into Microsoft Azure
• Working knowledge of Azure networking concepts including routing, VPNs, firewalls, and network security
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or 1 year of related experience
• Four (4) or more years of experience administering Microsoft Azure infrastructure in an enterprise environment
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
• Experience supporting Azure SQL Server environments
• Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage or related Azure data services
• Experience with Azure Batch or other high-performance compute environments
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Bicep, ARM Templates, or Terraform
• Experience supporting AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform environments
• Experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Sentinel, or other enterprise security platforms
