Senior Software Engineer (Computational Engineering)

Join Divergent, a leader in advanced additive manufacturing. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop and maintain complex engineering software for manufacturing applications. Your work will involve computational geometry algorithmic solutions and integration with engineering and factory applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to code reviews, and help improve material quality and print productivity.

• Contribuer au développement et à la maintenance de logiciels d'ingénierie complexes pour des applications de fabrication.
• Concevoir, mettre en œuvre, tester et déployer des solutions algorithmiques pour la génération de trajectoires d'outils.
• Collaborer avec des équipes interfonctionnelles pour recueillir des exigences et proposer de nouvelles solutions.
• Familiarity with Python
• Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
• Strong mathematical background and an understanding of computational geometry
• Advanced proficiency in C++ for production codebases
• Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and cloud‑native architecture
• Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science (or related) + 5 years of professional software‑engineering experience
• CI/CD pipeline design, experience with Docker and container technologies
• Experience with C++11 (and newer), multithreading, OpenMP, TBB
• Familiarity with microservice infrastructures and tools, such as Temporal and GraphQL
• Experience with developing robust software in manufacturing applications
• Experience with CAM/CAD tools
• Experience with Qt
