About The Role

Join HOLY, a fast-growing company with big ambitions and bold flavors. As a Senior Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for professionalizing and scaling our financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting, a smooth close process, and providing financial clarity across all markets. You will drive a fast month-end and year-end close, evolve our Chart of Accounts, identify bottlenecks in financial operations, manage statutory reporting and external audits, and establish standard operating procedures and internal controls. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a degree in Finance or Accounting, fluency in German and English, and 5+ years of accounting experience.

  • Professionalize and scale financial processes to keep pace with the company's expanding footprint.
  • Drive a fast, flawless month-end and year-end close, and oversee and guide teams handling accounts payable and receivable.
  • Lead statutory reporting and external audits across European entities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and statistical reporting.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and know how to set up accounting data so FP&A and leadership have the reliable baseline they need to steer the business
  • You enjoy building scalable processes that grow with the business while maintaining a pragmatic, "get-it-done" attitude to our daily operations
  • You are a hands-on, structured leader who takes absolute ownership of the numbers
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a comparable qualification
  • You know German GAAP (HGB) inside and out and are completely comfortable managing the financial reporting of a multi-entity group structure
  • You are a strategic thinker who can discuss consolidated results with the CFO, but you are also perfectly happy to reconcile a messy GL account yourself
  • Excellent communication skills in both German (fluent/native-level for authorities) and English
  • 5+ years of accounting experience. Ideally, you built your technical foundation in a top audit firm (Big 4) and then proved yourself in-house at a fast-scaling startup, D2C, or FMCG brand
  • You understand the business behind the numbers, bringing practical experience with inventory accounting, supply chains, and high-volume B2C transactions
