Senior Backend Software Engineer

You'll work with a lightweight microservice infrastructure, establish new processes and tools, and maintain a testing and observability stack. • Extend systems to support additional banking features and increase usage volume.
• Maintain core offerings and design architecture to bundle additional financial services.
• Collaborate with product, design, and front-end functions to build new financial offerings.
• 2+ years of experience using Python and Postgres
• Bonus: Experience with GraphQL, DevOps (Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes), and pub/sub models (Kafka)
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering
• A critical thinker capable of making tradeoffs in a fast paced environment
• A great communicator and collaborator, capable of creating and running cross-functional processes
• Product-minded and passionate about delivering delightful experiences to customers
• Opinionated on software engineering best practices, at a code and developer productivity level
• Experienced building backend systems that grow in complexity over time
