About The Role

Join our team as a Senior Mobile Software Engineer and take ownership of the mobile experience for a fintech app serving an underserved community. You will shape the product roadmap, translate design into production code, and ensure the quality and speed of delivery. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to build and ship features across payments, banking, KYC, and authentication flows. Additionally, you will define and enforce frontend patterns, tooling, and processes, and own observability and testing for core mobile flows. You will also evolve our design system and component library for consistency at scale and partner with leadership on architecture decisions and the technical roadmap.

Comfortable owning technical decisions end-to-end in a fast-moving startup where the right answer isn't always obvious
Experience shipping and maintaining iOS and Android apps through the App Store and Google Play
Experience with GraphQL in a production codebase
Comfortable with secrets management, CI/CD pipelines, and working in a codebase with pre-commit hooks and automated code review
Deep understanding of frontend architecture, state management, testing, and mobile performance
Proven track record in fintech, financial services, or a similarly regulated, high-uptime environment
Strong React Native and TypeScript production experience — you've written components other people depend on
Experience with KYC, remittances, or payment flows
Familiarity with Expo's managed vs. bare workflow trade-offs
Prior work on observability tooling (Datadog or similar) for mobile
