About The Role

Join LogicMonitor as a Senior Solutions Engineer, where you'll lead the delivery of advanced technical solutions for enterprise customers. As a key member of the Professional Services team, you'll collaborate with various internal teams and tackle complex projects. Your responsibilities will include spearheading large-scale deployments, driving product enhancements, implementing custom integrations, and advocating best practices. You should have a strong background in programming, software development, and cloud platforms.

  • Lead the delivery of advanced technical solutions for enterprise customers, ensuring seamless execution of large-scale Professional Services engagements.
  • Identify product gaps and feature requests, and communicate insights to Product and Development teams to drive product enhancements.
  • Implement tailored integrations using REST APIs, and translate customer requirements into automation products that support the growth of Professional Services.
  • Robust knowledge of modern web architectures, microservices, and APIs
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong grasp of programming concepts and effective debugging techniques
  • 3+ years of hands-on development using Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript
  • 4+ years of software development experience in commercial or enterprise environments
  • Familiarity with AWS services and other cloud platforms
  • IT certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, VMware VCP, CCNA, MCSA, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with container and automation technologies: Docker, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack, etc
  • Knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure platforms: Aruba, Cisco, Citrix, Dell, EMC, F5, HP, IBM, NetApp, Palo Alto, VMware, etc
  • Experience with automation and scripting
  • Previous experience in software development, consulting, or professional services
  • Understanding of Lambda functions and application monitoring
  • Understanding of server application administration: Apache, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Microsoft IIS, SQL Server, Exchange, Active Directory, etc
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript and/or Ruby
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services like AWS and Microsoft Azure
