Software Developer in Test (Vice President)

Join ICapital as a Software Developer in Test (Vice President) and be a key player in our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will work closely with the Development and Testing team, serving as a hands-on test engineer with managerial experience. You will build and implement robust automated test suites, integrate them with current build and deployment processes, and maintain them to reflect updates in system design and architecture. You will also perform all types of testing, including functional, API, automation, performance, and load.

• Collaborate closely with the Development and Testing team to enhance and implement existing automation test frameworks.
• Build and implement robust automated test suites, integrating them with current build and deployment processes.
• Design and publish meaningful metrics to support automation test creation and execution, and perform all types of testing.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools including JUnit, RestAssured, Playwright, Protractor, and JMeter
• Exposure to banking or finance environments is preferred
• 8+ years of experience with QA engineering delivery experience
• Proficient in CI/CD technologies such as Maven, Sonar, Git, TeamCity/Jenkins, and Docker
• Programming experience in Java with focus on behavior driven development (BDD) and test-driven development (TDD) and design patterns, ideally within continuous integration (CICD)
• AI Integration experience is preferred
• Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and SQL
• 4+ years of delivery within Agile SDLC teams ideally with CICD
• Experience with Java microservices and REST APIs and exposure to React front end
• Prior experience testing ETL processes is preferred
