Operations Lead

JOB DESCRIPTION FORM Job Scope: The Lead DC Operations will be responsible for operating the data center with higher efficiency to achieve lower PUE and provide 24/7 support to Data Center operations. Ensuring compliance with regulations and laws, update operation and facilities to meet the latest codes and client requirements. Work with internal operations teams, service delivery teams, and security teams to provide excellent service support to customers and ensure 100% uptime to the customers. Job Responsibilities: · Direct maintenance and repair of mission critical data centers. · Plan and execute Data Center operational budgets, expense forecasting and manage established budgets. · Create strategy for cost effective operations, focused on total cost of ownership. · Oversee daily operation management and ensure compliance of company policies and guidelines · Demonstrate critical thinking and innovation in approaching traditional data center and emergent mission critical data center challenges. · Perform & develop people/vendor management, site capacity management, infrastructure management, incident management, DC facility management, commercial building property management, etc. · Monitor and control the budgeted expenditures and ensure that the Data Center systems are operating healthy and efficiently. · Reviews client's strategic plans and determines appropriate staffing levels to meet expectations. · Perform leadership and supervision skills in administration duties such as review, performance and disciplinary action · Attending emergency call outs and responsible to prepare the Incident reports, root cause and preventive measures. · Support 1 up manager for customer RFP including floor layout with feasibility studies and guide the customer tours. · Reviewing the organization's environmental policy · Analyzing its environmental impacts, legal requirements, and compliance obligations · Setting environmental objectives and targets to reduce environmental impacts. · Follow & commit with Yotta’s Policy statements (eg. QMS/EMS/OHS/ISMS/PIMS/ITSM / BCMS / EnMS etc.) · Undertake applicable training as communicated from time to time. · Understand the organization’s expectations towards all management systems the company is certified for. · Participation in Risk assessment process, contribute in achieving departmental & management system objectives. · Adhere to confidentiality policy to safeguard sensitive company information, maintain trust with clients and partners, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations. · Perform their duties in the event of emergency as per roles in ERP/BCMS plan. · Assist in maintaining PIMS controls throughout personal data lifecycle. Good to Have Skill: · To develop and execute technical solutions, exceptional leadership and mentorship talents are required. · Thorough understanding and experience with Open stack components and modules · Direct experience with public clouds such as AWS · Strong knowledge in software architecture, data structures, modern design patterns, microservices · Good communication skills, can-do attitude, and focus on results. · Excellent record-keeping abilities, as well as written and spoken communication abilities.
