Senior Manager - Actuarial

The Senior Manager – Actuarial, Insurance and Reinsurance oversees actuarial reserving for Guardian Group P&C across all territories excluding the Dutch Caribbean. The role manages underwriting and reserving processes, ensuring compliance with risk, regulatory, and IFRS requirements, while providing actuarial advice and guidance to departments. The incumbent supports and attends monthly or quarterly meetings with the Board, regulators, rating agencies, and other departments, and assists with strategic initiatives involving Guardian Group P&C (excluding the Dutch Caribbean). The position ensures that P&C companies meet policyholder obligations and all reporting and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the role supports Senior Managers and Executives across underwriting, claims, and finance, adding actuarial value and insight. This position has a direct impact on the financial stability, risk management, and compliance of Guardian Group P&C companies.
