Vice President – Accounts & Finance

Designation: Vice President – Accounts & Finance Location: Gurgaon Position Description: The VP – Accounts & Finance will lead Affle India’s end-to-end finance function, ensuring financial governance, compliance, controls, and strategic partnership with business leaders. This role is responsible for driving financial discipline at scale, supporting growth across markets, and ensuring strong audit, statutory, and regulatory compliance. Primary Responsibilities: Financial Leadership & Governance Own the complete finance, accounting, taxation, and reporting function for India operations. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes. Maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and compliance frameworks. Act as the key finance partner to leadership on business performance and decision-making. Statutory, Tax & Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with Indian GAAP / Ind AS, Companies Act, FEMA, GST, TDS, and income tax regulations. Lead statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and regulatory reviews. Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory authorities. Business & Strategic Finance Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning aligned with business goals. Provide insights on revenue recognition, cost optimization, margin analysis, and working capital. Partner with sales, operations, and product teams on commercial structures and pricing. Team Leadership Lead and develop a high-performing finance team across accounting, taxation, AR/AP, and reporting. Drive capability building, clear accountability, and succession planning within the team. Required skills: Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory; MBA Finance preferred. 12–18 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles. Experience in technology, ad-tech, media, or digital platforms preferred. Strong exposure to multi-entity, multi-location operations. Proven experience leading audits and managing senior stakeholders. Key Skills & Competencies Strong command over accounting standards, compliance, and controls.
