About The Role
AEO T-II Certification Arrange AEO T-II certification with the help of consultant EY for DPD clearance at port and deferred duty payment Certificate arrangement with in time limit and before expiry of AEO T-1 Certificate Work on Alternate Port/ICD Explore the working of selection of ICD/Port for cost saving and improve efficiency of work Reduce cost and improve work efficiency Annual and MTP Budgeting -Maintain Annual Budgets for Logistics-MTP for logistics cost with deep analysis Shipment delivery in least cost IT Development -Implementation of CHENAB-E-Bidding thru SAP ARIBA Complete data feeding in CHENAB, Report generation, Selection of vendor thru e-bidding Responsibilities Heads KRA (Key Result Areas) KPI (Key Performance Indicators) Role Name Manager- Logistics Role Description To control and monitor all logistics activities related to import of Raw Material, Glass, PVB, BOM and Non- BOM items with cost effectiveness and timely delivery of shipments to plant. Role purpose To help Organization in attaining the value for every money spend in shipment clearance, Vendor Selection, Transportation and other activities related to delivery of shipment to plant. Responsible for developing robust system management in smooth clearance of shipments, Bill Processing, MIS and other related details. Cost should be minimum as compare to other businesses Advance Licence, MEIS Licence Utilization Shipment clearance against Advance Licence and MEIS Licence effectively to clear shipment with zero duty Licence utilization with in validity period and till the required quantity mention on licence Benchmarking of CHA, Transportation Cost Check cost of other service providers as well as same businesses Reporting to DGM - Materials Vendor Reconciliation and Payment Quarterly reconciliation of all vendors and timely bill submission Vendor payment with in credit period Refund of Security Deposit Security Payment to shipping lines and their refund in limited time frame 100% refund of security amount Zero Detention/Demmurage BuyersStoresFinance and Accounts Shipping Lines, CHA, Forwarders, Port Operators, ICD Costodians, Customs, Transporters Experience'(Number of years) 12+ years Qualification Engineering Graduate with Diploma in Materials Management. INTERACTION Internal Customers REQUIREMENTS Other External parties/Vendors Skills - Effective Negotiator '- Good Communication '- Leadership & interpersonal skills Knowledge Costing & Market study of pricing Knowledge of Imports Knowledge of International logistics Knowledge of CustomsGood Knowledge of Tariffs and Duties and ChagesKnowledge of EXIM PolicyExperience in dealing with shipping lines All shipments need to be clear under DPD 100% Utlization of DPD facility Ensure timely payment to suppliers. To maintain mkt reputation, suppliers confidence & for smooth functioning of future transactions, timely payments to suppliers are taken care of. Release of payments to all suppliers by Due Date. Team Management Manage the team of 4-5 people efficiently and with the capability of enhance manpower efficiency 100% utilization of all team members with more accuracy of work DPD Utilization at Port Advance Planning of all shipments for smooth clearance from Port/ICD to avoid detention/demmurage Zero Detention/Demmurage Advance Payment Reconciliation and Settlement Advance payment to shipping lines and CFS, Bill wise settlement of all payments, Monthly Reconciliation with Finance 100% Settlement of Advances needs to be done
