About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator ( PostgreSQL) to manage, maintain, and optimise PostgreSQL databases that support critical business applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in database administration, performance tuning, backup & recovery, security, and high availability while ensuring optimal database performance and reliability.

Strong experience with PostgreSQL Database Administration.
Excellent knowledge of SQL and query optimisation.
Experience with PostgreSQL backup and recovery tools.
Hands-on experience with replication, clustering, and high availability.
Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
Experience with performance tuning and database monitoring.
Understanding of database security best practices.
Familiarity with shell scripting (Bash) and automation.
Experience with version control tools such as Git is an advantage.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
PostgreSQL certification is a plus.
