Purpose

The DLS Military Case Manager serves as the single point of contact for Amazon employees experiencing leave of absence or disability events across the U.S. and the rest of the world, providing comprehensive case management services.

The DLS Military Case Manager excels at answering questions, understanding employee situations, applying appropriate benefits, and adapting to changing circumstances. They deliver a connected and trusted case management experience.

Case Management & Communication

• Initiate and respond to Military leave/disability inquiries
• Provide holistic case management services
• Deliver updates to employees and stakeholders
• Calculate payments using system formulas

Assessment & Compliance

• Review Military documentation and adjudicate leaves
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and Amazon policies
• Maintain accurate system records
• Adapt case management plans to changing needs

Problem-Solving & Support

• Handle sensitive situations
• Troubleshoot and remove barriers
• Solve problems with limited information

Return-to-Work

• Facilitate smooth return-to-work transitions
• Educate managers and business partners

Collaboration

Partner with third-party administrators, HR, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and other departments
