Appliance Technician

Responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining residential and commercial appliances within client facilities managed by the company. The role ensures appliances operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose faults and repair electrical and mechanical issues in appliances.

Install, test, and commission appliances such as

• Refrigerators and freezers
• Washing machines and dryers

Dishwashers

• Ovens, cookers, and microwaves
• Water dispensers and small kitchen appliances
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
• Replace defective components and ensure proper functioning after repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and spare parts usage.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and service calls within assigned facilities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with supervisors, subcontractors, and clients regarding maintenance schedules and repair status.
• Recommend replacement of appliances when repairs are not economical.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and clean condition.
