Plumber

Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems, fixtures, and equipment used for water distribution, drainage, and sanitation. The role ensures all plumbing systems operate efficiently and comply with safety and building regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or leaks
• Repair or replace damaged pipes and fixtures
• Install water heaters, pumps, and other plumbing equipment
• Ensure proper functioning of sewage and drainage systems
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and proper operation
• Follow safety standards and building codes
• Respond to emergency plumbing issues
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements

• High school diploma or technical certification in plumbing
• Proven experience as a plumber
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
• Understanding of safety standards and regulations
• Physical strength and stamina
• Good problem-solving skills
