**Responsibilities**
- Oversees and assists all activities of Bowling operations.
- Hires and develops staff in the areas of Core Values, customer service, hospitality and policies and procedures.
- Oversee the daily process to ensure guest satisfaction by consistent delivery of both product quality and service in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Maintain procedures for credit control, handling of financial transactions, security of monies, guest security, and emergency/safety procedures.
- Selects, hires, trains, evaluates, disciplines, and recommends salary increases for staff.
- Inspect Bowling facility, and public areas for cleanliness and appearance on a daily basis.
- Works in conjunction with the other departments on promotions, property needs along with any food and beverage accommodations requested.
- Assists the Beverage team with public events held in the adjoining event space when needed.
- Conducts staff meetings of operations personnel, or confers with subordinate personnel to discuss operation problems or explain procedural changes or practices.
- Manages priorities and assignments of the team.
- Monitors variances using the most current policies and procedures for the Bowling outlet.
- Follows and ensures that Policies and Procedures of the Bowling property and Casino Operation are followed.
- Analyzes, manages and reports operations financial performance and makes suggestions to improve such findings.
- Ensures compliance with Tribal, State, Federal regulations.
- Ensures control/protection of company assets.
- Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
- Exceptional guest service skills are required.
- Two to three years of experience working in a bowling center.
- Minimum three years’ experience in management and coordination of events and one year of supervisory experience preferred. Experience in budgeting and fiscal responsibility for revenue-producing activities desirable.
- Casino knowledge is preferred.
- Knowledgeable in bowling operations and reservation systems.
- Must be customer service oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Ability to work in a challenging environment dealing with sensitive issues and maintain confidentially with strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain professional, courteous, and effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and outside business contacts.
- Proven intermediate skills in Windows, MS Office Programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and experience with database systems. Ability to prepare reports, correspondence, charts, forms and other information and instructions.
**Certificates, Licenses, Regulations**
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class B gaming license with the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency.
**Physical Demands and Work Environment**
Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires repetitive movement with the ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift.
