We are seeking an experienced **Inventory & Warehouse Operations Manager** to lead end-to-end warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics functions while ensuring operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and regulatory compliance. This role is ideal for a professional with strong expertise in warehouse management, MIS reporting, and inventory optimization, along with hands-on experience managing risk mitigation and insurance claims for high-value inventory. The successful candidate will oversee warehouse operations, lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with logistics partners, and drive continuous process improvements to enhance operational performance.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end inward and outward warehouse operations, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory.
  • Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents while ensuring timely Goods Receipt Note (GRN) processing.
  • Supervise inventory storage, binning, stock movement, and dispatch activities while maintaining high accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with logistics providers, transporters, and third-party partners to ensure timely deliveries and optimize turnaround times.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and periodic warehouse audits.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports covering inventory levels, order fulfillment, stock variances, operational KPIs, and warehouse performance.
  • Analyze inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead end-to-end insurance claim processes for damaged, lost, pilfered, or transit-affected inventory, including documentation, survey coordination, and claim settlement follow-up.
  • Maintain complete documentation related to inventory transactions, insurance claims, warehouse compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory while recommending inventory optimization and liquidation strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to warehouse safety standards, operational procedures, and inventory control best practices.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise warehouse teams, allocating responsibilities and driving productivity, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, operations, logistics, and vendor teams to ensure seamless warehouse operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Support warehouse automation initiatives, ERP enhancements, barcode systems, and process optimization projects.

### What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • 4+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics management.
  • Proven expertise in inventory control, warehouse operations, and end-to-end material movement processes.
  • Strong experience managing insurance claims related to transit loss, warehouse damage, shortages, or inventory risk.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP-based inventory management systems and warehouse management processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, reporting, data analysis, and MIS preparation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data and recommend process improvements.
  • Experience conducting inventory audits, stock reconciliation, variance analysis, and inventory optimization initiatives.
  • Excellent vendor management, negotiation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing warehouse teams and driving operational excellence.
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse safety practices, inventory controls, logistics coordination, and documentation standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills with a strong focus on accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
