## Description

The organization is a flagship Giga project under Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative, aiming to create a world-class entertainment, cultural and lifestyle destination. As a multibillion-dollar project, it will encompass vast infrastructure development, hospitality, and retail and service sectors, which requires effective and large-scale management of supplier relationships and supply chain risks.

The **Senior Specialist – Supply Chain Risk** is responsible for supporting the organization’s SRM & SCR team in executing supply chain risk management activities. **This includes identifying, assessing, documenting, monitoring, and reporting key supply chain risks** across procurement categories, while supporting mitigation actions and coordination with internal stakeholders.

## Requirements

**Key Responsibilities****:**

**1\. Supply Chain Risk Management:**

  • Support identification of potential supply chain risks and assess likelihood and impact using established risk assessment frameworks (e.g., operational, financial, ESG, compliance, geopolitical, cybersecurity, capacity, and concentration risks).
  • Maintain and update supplier risk profiles, including risk scoring inputs, dependency analysis, and critical supplier identification under the guidance of the SRM & SCR leadership team.
  • Support implementation and tracking of mitigation actions, contingency plans, and follow-up activities to manage identified risks and contribute to business continuity.
  • Monitor external risk indicators such as regulatory changes, natural disasters, market developments, and supplier-related events that may disrupt the supply chain.
  • Contribute data, insights, and updates for enterprise-level risk views, dashboards, and governance reporting in alignment with ERM requirements.

**2\. Internal Stakeholder Engagement:**

  • Collect and consolidate information from business teams on supply chain needs, supplier risk indicators, and dependency requirements to support organization-wide risk visibility.
  • Support stakeholder awareness and working sessions on supplier / supply chain risk reporting, escalation channels, and continuity actions in case of supply chain disruptions.

**3\. Collaboration, Knowledge Sharing & Team Support**

  • Support team members through knowledge sharing, coordination, and timely follow-up on assigned SRM & SCR activities.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and high-performance culture within the SRM & SCR Team by maintaining discipline in documentation, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.

**4\. Governance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement**

  • Support development, maintenance, and periodic updates of supply chain risk policies, methodologies, playbooks, templates, and working documents.
  • Prepare accurate reports, dashboards, trackers, and management updates on supply chain risk trends, action status, and mitigation progress.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of tools, data quality, process discipline, and reporting standards related to SRM and supply chain risk.
  • Support audits, internal reviews, and compliance requirements related to supplier risk, documentation, governance, and evidence collection.

**Qualifications:**

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Supplier Relationship Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, Risk, or related roles, ideally within large-scale projects such as construction, real estate, infrastructure, tourism, entertainment, or urban development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Accounting, Law, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related fields. Master’s degree, MBA, or other advanced qualification is preferred for Senior Specialist level.
  • Preferred: Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), or relevant risk / procurement certification.
  • Knowledge of KSA regulatory requirements and familiarity with Vision 2030 goals is desirable.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and documentation skills with the ability to identify, summarize, and escalate risks effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional environments and align stakeholder inputs with organizational processes and objectives.
  • Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in Arabic highly desirable.
  • Understanding of the local cultural and business landscape in Saudi Arabia through work experience in the region preferred.
