We are looking for a highly skilled **Forward Deployed Engineer** to bridge the gap between engineering, product, and enterprise customers by delivering scalable, data-driven solutions. In this customer-facing role, you will work closely with clients to understand complex business challenges, architect robust data solutions, and build production-ready systems that drive measurable business outcomes. You will play a key role in translating technical and business requirements into scalable implementations while influencing product evolution through customer insights and real-world use cases.

This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy solving complex data engineering problems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and working directly with enterprise customers throughout the implementation lifecycle.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise customers to understand business requirements and design end-to-end technical solutions.
• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time data processing.
• Build and optimize data infrastructure using modern cloud platforms and distributed data systems.
• Translate solution requirements into detailed technical designs, implementation plans, and scalable architectures.
• Configure and extend workflow orchestration processes to support complex business automation requirements.
• Make informed technical decisions regarding reusable platform capabilities versus customer-specific implementations.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and implementation teams to identify platform improvements and product enhancement opportunities.
• Lead technical discussions with customers during solution design, implementation, and deployment phases.
• Develop intuitive frontend interfaces using modern web technologies to present data effectively for business users.
• Build and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs to support seamless data exchange across systems.
• Participate in architecture reviews, contribute to internal engineering tools, and promote engineering best practices.
• Capture customer feedback, document recurring implementation patterns, and advocate for product improvements based on real-world usage.

### What Makes You a Great Fit

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in **Forward Deployed Engineering**, Data Engineering, Solution Engineering, or customer-facing technical consulting roles.
• Strong programming skills in **Python** and **SQL** with experience building production-grade data solutions.
• Experience designing and optimizing data pipelines, data warehouses, and distributed data processing systems.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, fault tolerance, and data architecture principles.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)** or **AWS**, including containerized deployments using Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration platforms such as Airflow, Argo, Temporal, or similar technologies.
• Experience working with **BigQuery**, including schema design, query optimization, partitioning, and cost optimization.
• Strong frontend development experience using **React** and **TypeScript** to build scalable user interfaces.
• Experience integrating REST and GraphQL APIs into enterprise applications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead customer-facing technical discussions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution architecture skills with the ability to translate ambiguous business problems into scalable technical solutions.
