**This role is for one of our clients**

**Compensation: $115 per hour**

We're conducting a research initiative to improve how emergency medicine physicians' work is represented in occupational frameworks. We are seeking experienced emergency medicine physicians to share insights into their day-to-day responsibilities, helping create a more accurate understanding of the profession through direct practitioner feedback.

### About the Role

As an experienced emergency medicine physician, you will participate in a one-time online survey or interview focused on your daily clinical responsibilities, decision-making processes, and patient care workflows. Your expertise will contribute to improving occupational research and ensuring real-world emergency medicine practices are accurately represented.

## Requirements

### What You'll Do

  • Complete a one-time online survey or interview about your day-to-day work as an emergency medicine physician (approximately 30 minutes).
  • Share insights into emergency department workflows, clinical decision-making, patient stabilization, and treatment priorities.
  • Provide accurate information about the responsibilities, skills, and challenges involved in emergency medicine practice.
  • Participate in an optional follow-up survey, task, or short interview if selected (paid separately).

### Who We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of professional experience practicing emergency medicine.
  • Currently practicing, or have practiced in an emergency medicine role within the past 12 months.
  • Strong hands-on experience with emergency department workflows, including triage, rapid clinical decision-making, patient stabilization, and emergency care.
  • Based in the United States.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

### Not Eligible

Applications will not be considered from professionals whose primary role is

  • EMTs or Paramedics.
  • Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants working in emergency departments.
  • Registered Nurses, including Emergency Room (ER) Nurses.
  • Urgent Care Physicians whose primary practice is outside a hospital emergency department.
  • Physicians from other specialties (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine, etc.) who do not actively practice emergency medicine.
  • Medical Residents or Fellows who have not yet begun independent practice.
  • Surgeons or physicians practicing outside emergency medicine.
