Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for an experienced **Post Silicon Validation Engineer** to join our semiconductor engineering team and validate cutting-edge silicon products from bring-up through production readiness. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in **DDR Validation**, **JTAG**, **Oscilloscopes**, and **I2C**, along with a deep understanding of post-silicon debugging, hardware validation, and system-level testing.

As a Post Silicon Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for validating silicon functionality, executing comprehensive test plans, identifying hardware and firmware issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and performance. You will play a key role in delivering reliable, production-ready silicon by performing detailed root-cause analysis and driving issue resolution throughout the validation lifecycle.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain post-silicon validation plans for complex semiconductor devices and SoCs.
  • Perform **DDR validation**, memory subsystem testing, and signal integrity verification to ensure reliable system performance.
  • Utilize **JTAG** tools for device bring-up, debugging, and hardware diagnostics during silicon validation.
  • Operate and interpret measurements from **oscilloscopes**, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and other laboratory equipment to investigate hardware behavior.
  • Validate communication interfaces including **I2C**, SPI, UART, PCIe, USB, and other standard protocols as applicable.
  • Perform board-level bring-up, hardware characterization, functional verification, and performance benchmarking.
  • Debug silicon, firmware, and hardware issues by conducting systematic root-cause analysis and collaborating with design, firmware, and manufacturing teams.
  • Design and automate validation test cases, scripts, and regression suites to improve test coverage and engineering productivity.
  • Analyze validation results, document defects, and track issues through closure while ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with RTL, design verification, firmware, hardware, and product engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain detailed validation reports, test documentation, and technical specifications.
  • Support production readiness, qualification activities, and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance validation methodologies and processes.

### What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 5+ years of experience in **Post Silicon Validation**, hardware validation, or semiconductor product validation.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in **DDR Validation**, **JTAG debugging**, **Oscilloscopes**, and **I2C** protocol validation.
  • Experience with silicon bring-up, board-level debugging, and hardware characterization.
  • Proficiency in using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and JTAG debuggers.
  • Solid understanding of high-speed interfaces, memory subsystems, embedded systems, and digital hardware architectures.
  • Experience developing validation plans, automated test scripts, and regression frameworks.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and root-cause analysis skills with the ability to resolve complex silicon and hardware issues.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Perl for validation automation is an advantage.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across hardware, firmware, design, and validation teams.
  • Self-driven mindset with a strong focus on quality, ownership, and delivering reliable, production-ready semiconductor products in a fast-paced engineering environment.
