We are seeking a skilled **Electrical Engineer II** to join our engineering team, contributing to the design and development of advanced semiconductor equipment and high-precision industrial machinery. In this role, you will work on electrical system design, power distribution, automation, and control systems while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable and innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong expertise in electrical engineering fundamentals, industrial automation, and semiconductor equipment design, along with a passion for solving complex engineering challenges.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

### Electrical Design & Development

  • Design and develop electrical systems for semiconductor equipment and industrial machinery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to design and modify custom and OEM equipment.
  • Prepare installation packages, including electrical schematics, facility layouts, routing diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Develop electrical product specifications, engineering documentation, and test procedures.
  • Create and maintain engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), and technical documentation using engineering change management processes.

### System Engineering

  • Design and validate AC/DC power distribution systems for industrial equipment.
  • Perform electrical calculations including load analysis, Short Circuit Current Rating (SCCR), phase balancing, and related engineering studies.
  • Develop and review ANSI/IEC electrical schematics, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and three-line diagrams.
  • Support equipment commissioning and electrical integration activities.

### Automation & Controls

  • Work with PLC-based automation and industrial control systems.
  • Collaborate with software and controls engineering teams to integrate electrical and automation components.
  • Support industrial interfaces and machine control architectures.

### Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement

  • Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues in equipment, subsystems, and control systems.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Evaluate obsolete electrical components and recommend suitable replacements.
  • Conduct component lifecycle assessments and maintain engineering reports.

### Engineering Operations

  • Utilize Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools to manage engineering data, revisions, and change processes.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant electrical and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and engineering efficiency.

### Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 3–6 years of experience in electrical engineering or industrial equipment design.
  • Strong understanding of AC/DC power distribution systems and electrical control design.
  • Experience performing electrical calculations such as load analysis, SCCR, and phase balancing.
  • Ability to create and interpret ANSI/IEC electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
  • Proficiency with electrical CAD tools such as **SolidWorks Electrical** or **AutoCAD Electrical**.
  • Experience with PLCs and industrial automation systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

### Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with semiconductor manufacturing equipment or capital equipment.
  • Knowledge of **PLM** systems and engineering change management.
  • Familiarity with **SEMI**, **NFPA**, and other industrial electrical standards.
  • Experience with LT panels, special-purpose machines, and industrial interfaces.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory testing equipment and electrical measurement instruments.
