## Description
**This role is for one of the Weekday's clients**
**Salary range: Rs 1500000 - Rs 2200000 (ie INR 15- 22 LPA)**

- **1\. Business Partnering & Advisory**
- Partner with business teams to provide timely legal advice on operational and strategic matters.
- Support land acquisition, project development, commercial transactions, leasing, procurement, and business partnerships.
- Review commercial proposals and identify legal and contractual risks.
- Provide practical legal solutions aligned with business objectives.
**2\. Contract Management**
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements including construction contracts, consultant agreements, vendor contracts, lease agreements, NDAs and service agreements.
- Ensure contract documentation is legally compliant and commercially sound.
- Standardize legal documentation and improve contract governance across the organization.
- Support contract negotiations with internal and external stakeholders.
**3\. Land Acquisition & Property Matters**
- Support legal due diligence for land acquisitions and development opportunities.
- Review title documents and coordinate with external legal counsel for title verification.
- Assist in structuring land transactions and documentation.
- Work closely with business teams during acquisition and project execution.
**4\. Litigation & Dispute Resolution**
- Coordinate ongoing litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution matters.
- Liaise with external advocates and legal consultants.
- Monitor legal cases, maintain litigation trackers and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Assist in preparing legal opinions, case strategies and documentation.
**5\. Governance, Compliance & Risk**
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Support implementation of legal policies and governance frameworks.
- Identify legal risks across business operations and recommend mitigation measures.
- Assist during legal audits, regulatory inspections and compliance reviews.
**6\. Stakeholder Management**
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across Projects, Finance, Procurement, Sales, CRM, Design and Land Acquisition.
- Coordinate with government authorities, regulatory bodies and external legal advisors.
- Build strong relationships with external law firms and ensure timely legal support.
**7\. Legal Operations**
- Maintain legal MIS, contract repositories and litigation trackers.
- Monitor timelines for agreements, renewals and statutory obligations.
- Drive process improvements within the Legal function.
- Support digitization and document governance initiatives.
## Requirements
**Key Requirements**
- 10-15 years of progressive legal experience, preferably within real estate, construction or infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of property law, land acquisition, commercial contracts, litigation and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Understanding of legal due diligence, title verification and project documentation.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance legal risk and business priorities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- High standards of integrity, ethics and confidentiality.
