DMPK Research Investigator

Job Responsibilities: · Study Design and Execution: Design and conduct in vitro and in vivo studies to characterize and assess the liabilities of small molecule compounds, supporting the nomination of drug candidates. · ADME/PK Study Coordination: Coordinate ADME/PK studies efficiently, communicating protocols, timelines, needs, and results to the team to ensure optimized cycle times. · Project Oversight: Oversee internal and outsourced non-clinical drug metabolism and PK activities across multiple projects, including study design, data interpretation, and presentation. · Method Development: Develop and refine bioanalytical methods for plasma and tissue samples. · Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze experimental data, prepare comprehensive reports, and contribute to scientific publications. · Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, clinical) and external partners. · Expertise and Problem-Solving: Provide scientific expertise in ADME assays and help resolve challenges during development. Requirements: · Education: PhD in drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics. · Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of ADME and pharmacokinetics, with expertise in LC-MS/MS instrumentation, method development, and analysis of biological fluids and tissues. Experience with a Sciex Platform for qualitative and quantitative analysis is preferred. · Communication Skills: Excellent ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
