General Description: Perform high-quality laboratory experiments under limited supervision to establish animal models and evaluate the efficacy, pharmacokinetics, and safety of therapeutic candidate molecules using mouse and/or rat with general guidance. Technical Procedures: 1. Conduct routine in vivo procedures in mice and rats in support of in vivo screening and pharmacology projects; 2. Assist in the development and characterization of novel in vivo models; 3. Prepare drug formulations with good practice; 4. Work with a variety of routine and specialized laboratory instruments and equipment in the laboratory; 5. Performs sample preparation, management and storage; 6. Responsible for ensuring compliance with protocols, SOPs and IACUC regulations. Qualifications: Education experience 1. Bachelor or Master degree with major of biology, immunology, pharmacology or related; 2. Master degree with 1+ years or Bachelor degree with 2+ years industry experience in in-vivo pharmacology or animal study related; Laboratory skills and technical expertise 1.Extensive experience working with small laboratory animals and proficient hands-on experience with in vivo techniques, including but not limited to handling, drug formulation preparation, dosing of rodents (mice/rats) via various routes of administration (IP, PO, SC, IV, IM, IT), tissue&fliud collection and processing; 2. Proficient experience on necropsy, euthanasia, anesthesia, disease burden measurements, and clinical observation; 3. Experiences performance delicate small animal procedure for establishing disease models, such as orthotopic tumor implantation. Data recording and analyzing 1. Good laboratory record keeping and management practice; 2. Ability to use a range of online data management and analysis tools to manage and analyze data. Data interpretation and report draft 1. Summary data appropriately based on generated data; 2. Proficient with commonly used presenting tools such as PowerPoint presentations, Excel table or Word to report data. Communications skills Good written and verbal communication skills Teamwork ability Good teamwork sense and ability. Others 1. Good English writing and reading ability; 2. A self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing needs and priorities; with a proven ability to priorities and manage tasks simultaneously; 3. Ability to select appropriate resources for issue solving on self-initiative; 4. Sharp sense of demand-creation for learning and implementing new techniques and model development; 5. Expertise in the use of management tools for mapping and executing complex experiments and projects; 6.
