Associate Director, Plant Costing and Inventory

General Description: We are seeking a high-performing Associate Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our Global Tech Ops (GTO) Finance team. This position serves as an integral member of the team of the BeOne GTO FP&A Finance team, leading a team and reporting directly to the Senior Director, GTO FP&A Finance. You will be a bridge between global finance strategy and local execution, identify and deploy process optimization or system enhancement opportunity to improve data accuracy and improve efficiency. You will be instrumental in the development of the GTO annual budget, long-range plans, and financial forecasting, providing cross site analysis and insight to influence management decision making. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to balance both strategic and operational challenges, possess strong technical and analytical skills, and effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Success in this role requires cross-functional leadership and collaboration, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. Essential Functions of the Job: Month end Closing Partner with site finance to manage and execute the month end closing process to ensure timely and accurate reporting Standardize overhead allocations and material ledger settlement cross sites Budgeting and Forecasting consolidation Design and build up standardized budget templates and assumptions models to facilitate financial analysis Consolidate plant inputs and perform cross site analysis to ensure assumption consistency and reasonability Financial Reporting Excellence Develop and maintain standardized reporting dashboards and package to facilitate financial analysis and management review Build up trusted data pool to enhance faster financial analysis and decision making Serve as liaison with local controlling team, internal control team and local IA team etc. Process ownership and continuous improvement Ensure standard cost calculation and system execution to compliance with global standard process Prepare and maintain centralized audit schedules and standardize audit evidence template across two plant sites Identify and deploy system solutions to replace manual work, train plant finance teams on new tools and standard processes Computer Skills: Excellent computer software skills (Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience using SAP and EPM tools (e.g., TM1, Ariba, etc) Other Qualifications: Experience Required: 10+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, preferably within the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry, with experience in supporting operational units and manufacturing finance. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA/ACCA/CIMA preferred. Proven experience in a corporate FP&A role, ideally within a large, complex organization. Strong track record of cross-functional collaboration, influencing decision-making across diverse teams and organizational levels. Expertise in process standardization, automation and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma). Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences and distill complex data into clear, actionable insights. Strong business acumen and the ability to connect financial data to business strategy.
