CADD (Senior) Research Investigator/(Senior) Principal Investigator

Main responsibility: 1. Support drug discovery projects at various stages from CADD perspective including but not limited to protein structure prediction, virtual screening, hit triage, rational design etc. 2. Apply state-of-art computational methods including physics-based and data-driven approaches to the most appropriate application scenario for each project. 3. Provide information and technical analysis for drug target evaluation. 4. Assist assay development by probe design etc. 5. Perform SAR analysis and provide suggestions to the project team. 6. Participate in proposing new drug targets and coordinating different functions to build new drug discovery programs. 7. Work closely with medicinal chemists, biologists, data/AI scientists, and other functions. Qualifications: 1. PhD in computational chemistry/biology or closely related area with strong track record of scientific publications including patents. Experience with drug discovery project support is preferred. 2. Expertise in CADD technologies such as molecular docking, MD simulation, protein structure prediction, protein-protein docking, quantum mechanics, cheminformatics, etc. 3. Familiar with common software such as Schrodinger, MOE, Amber, Gromacs, CSD, GAMESS, etc 4. Good understanding of underlying methodologies as well as their pros and cons. 5. Experience with scripting language and machine/deep learning techniques is a plus. 6. Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently and cooperatively. 7.
