2026 Campus-Senior Data Engineer

M ain Responsibilit y : Be responsible for the daily management, maintenance, and optimization of biological data-related databases, ensuring data security, integrity, and high performance. Organize, store, and manage biological data generated in laboratories to support research and development needs. Participate in the design and development of database solutions to enable efficient access and analysis of biological experimental data. Assist in optimizing database performance, monitor database operations, and troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues. Write and maintain related SOP and technical documentation, while coordinating effectively with laboratory teams to improve data infrastructure. Maintain the Data-upload functions and related software operations and provide technical support when needed. Help the team stay informed about emerging trends in data storage and management and explore ways to enhance database applications in biological research scenarios. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or above in Biology, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, or a related field ( Master’s degree preferred). Hands-on experience with biological experimental procedures and a clear understanding of laboratory workflows and the mechanism and importance of experimental data generation. Familiarity with or basic knowledge of SQL language, or a strong interest in learning database query and management skills. Strong logical thinking and learning ability, with the capacity to quickly adapt and solve technical issues. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to promote the integration of biological research and data management. Excellent English language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), with the ability to engage in technical discussions and collaborations with international teams is a plus. An understanding of or strong interest in software maintenance and management. Practical experience is a plus. Chemdraw and other Chemistry software understanding and skills is a plus. A foundation in programming languages such as Python, JAVA and data analysis skills is a plus.
