Molecular Science, Principal Investigator to Senior Principal Investigator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced principal or senior principal investigator with a strong background in Cancer Biology for BeiGene discovery pipelines. The position can be based in either Beijing or Shanghai. Responsibilities: Execute target mining, target validation, and program initiation based on robust tumor biology and clinical insights to fulfill BeiGene drug discovery goals Support oncology drug discovery programs, including but not limited to small molecule drugs or antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) Collaborate closely with medicinal chemists, biologists and in vivo pharmacologists to speed up the drug discovery process Identify novel technologies and strategies to progress the portfolio Be able to do trouble shooting and address key issues of the programs Qualifications: PhD in Cell Biology, Pharmacology, Immunology or related fields with 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience 2+ years of project leadership/management experience in the pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry Strong scientific background with proven track record in tumor biology Prior work in ADCs is a plus Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for scientific innovation and excellence Capability to manage multi-tasks and multi-projects with efficiency Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in fast-paced multidisciplinary team environment
