## Description

Royal Ocean Marine is looking for an experienced **Technical Manager Offshore Malaysia** to join our client's team. The Technical Manager will oversee and coordinate all technical operations of offshore vessels based in Malaysia, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with safety standards, and timely maintenance.

  • Manage the technical aspects of offshore vessels operating in Malaysia.
  • Ensure vessels comply with classification society rules, statutory requirements, and company policies.
  • Plan and supervise maintenance, repairs, and dry-dockings for offshore vessels.
  • Coordinate with shipyards, vendors, and contractors to ensure quality workmanship and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize vessel performance and reduce operational risks.
  • Oversee budgeting and control expenditures related to technical operations.
  • Lead and develop the technical team, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

## Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in technical management of offshore vessels, preferably in Malaysia or Southeast Asia region.
  • Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, classification society rules, and offshore vessel operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations effectively.
  • Willingness to travel offshore and around Southeast Asia as required.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems for technical management.
