Team Leader for Antibody-Based Therapeutics (AD level)

General Description: This role will play a critical role in the discovery and development of novel antibody-based therapeutics. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing experiments to identify and optimize therapeutic antibodies or recombinant proteins. This role requires a deep understanding of immunology, molecular biology, and protein engineering, as well as experience in antibody discovery and development processes. Responsibilities: Build, lead, and mentor a group of scientists to support the biologics research portfolio in a fast-pacing environment. Drive biologics programs to ensure efficient project progression in research stage. Design and execute experiments to identify and optimize therapeutic antibodies using various techniques from in vitro and in vivo repertoires. Design and implement the optimization strategies of biologics for properties such as affinity, potency, stability, and PK profile. Work closely with biology team, translational team to advance therapeutic leads to preclinical candidates. Qualifications Required: Ph.D. in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field and minimum of 8 years of experience in antibody discovery and development in an industry setting. Proven track record of successful therapeutic antibody discovery and development, including but not limited to publication, patent, or preclinical candidate delivery. Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
