Antibody Discovery, Senior Principal Investigator/Associate Director

Responsibilities: Support key activities for the novel antibody discovery programs and be responsible for the discovery of different antibody modalities, eg. mAb, bi-specific antibodies, ADC & nanobodies, bio-physical and function characterization. Evaluate antibody discovery opportunities, asses the feasibility, draft proposals with budgeting, and lead discovery projects with full deliverable responsibilities. Own the responsibility for antibody discovery; developing libraries; library screening; designing, validating and executing assays to identify lead antibody candidates; and identification of candidate antibodies in close collaboration with other functions within the Biologics group. Develop timelines and budgets, and ensures timely completion of projects in-line with the agreed research milestones. Extensive experience in antibody discovery, preferably in an industry working on biologics. Be familiar with antibody discovery technologies, including but not limited to hybridoma/single B/phage display/yeast display/nanobody platform, to expedite the process and deliver high quality lead molecules. Experience in molecular biology, cell biology and immunology, mammalian cell culture, antibody library screens, antibody characterization, technologies to support different format antibody screening. Discovery, characterization, and optimization of novel antibodies. Qualifications: Ph.D degree in Biology, Immunology and other relevant field. 8-15 years of experience in the industry with at least 5 years in a role of a similar nature and scale. Industry experience in drug discovery/ design of novel antibody therapeutics entities. Expertise in handling both scientific & operational responsibilities. Post-Doctoral training experience is a plus.
