Molecular Science, Associate Director to Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced associate director or director with a strong background in Cancer Biology for BeiGene discovery pipelines. The position can be based in either Beijing or Shanghai. Responsibilities: Contribute to R&D portfolio strategy, proposing new projects and prioritization based on scientific merit, clinical need, and commercial potential to fulfill BeiGene drug discovery goals Lead oncology drug discovery programs, including but not limited to small molecule drugs or antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) Identify novel technologies and strategies to progress the portfolio Be able to do trouble shooting and address key issues of the programs Serve as a scientific mentor focused on targeted cancer therapies or ADCs Foster a data‑driven, hypothesis‑driven, and accountability‑oriented project culture Qualifications: PhD in Cell Biology, Pharmacology, Immunology or related fields with 8+ years pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience 5+ years of project leadership/management experience in the pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry Strong scientific background with proven track record in tumor biology Prior work in ADCs is a plus Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for scientific innovation and excellence Capability to manage multi-tasks and multi-projects with efficiency Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in fast-paced multidisciplinary team environment
