Senior Scientist, Biologics Analytical (Functional Assays)

We are currently looking for one Senior Scientist to join the Analytical Research & Development (ARD) team within BioTD at BeOne. This role focuses on developing and applying functional assays to support process development and deepen product understanding. The successful candidate will work collaboratively in a matrix environment and interface with early discovery, manufacturing, CMC development, and Regulatory Affairs. Responsibilities: Bring energy, knowledge, innovation and influence to carry out the following: • Develop functional assays for antibody and ADC drugs in multiple formats including cell-based assays, ELISA and FACS assays based on the mechanism of action. • Perform genome editing using CRISPR, transposon, Leti/Retro viral techniques in recombinant and primary cells. • Provide the functional assay support for the project study, coordinate and perform assays within timeline and quality requirements. Support analytical methods transfer, verification and validation. • Analyze and summarize data independently. Prepare reports and documentations to support application for INDs and NDAs. • Drive the development of technical skills through coaching and motivate a high performing culture across the team. • Ability and desire to master new skills, methods and technologies that enhance departmental capabilities.
