Senior Scientist, Pharmacology

The primary responsibility is to perform high-quality laboratory experiments independently to establish animal models and evaluate the efficacy, pharmacokinetics, and safety of therapeutic candidate molecules using mouse and/or rat with general guidance. And our focusing disease area is oncology and autoimmune disease. Responsibilities Conduct routine in vivo procedures in mice and rats in support of in vivo screening and pharmacology projects; Participate in the development and characterization of novel in vivo models and support team to set up new methodology and disease model knowledgebase to support drug discovery and development. Prepare drug formulations with good practice; Performs sample preparation, management and storage; Responsible for ensuring compliance with protocols, SOPs and IACUC regulations. Maintain accurate, timely, and complete lab notebook, prepare study protocols, reports, and regulatory documents as needed. Concise and effective reporting and presentation of data under supervision. Assist in development of new techniques and optimize existing study skills or procedures to improve efficiency constantly. Draft SOPs including but not limited to in vivo & ex vivo study tech/management. Collaborating effectively with the team to ensure successful project execution, addressing any project-related issues. Other work as assigned by the line manager. Requirements Bachelor degree with 3+ years industry experience in in-vivo pharmacology or animal study related, tracking record in oncology/autoimmune disease model development is a plus; Extensive experience working with small laboratory animals and proficient hands-on experience with in vivo techniques, including but not limited to handling, drug formulation preparation, dosing of rodents (mice/rats) via various routes of administration (IP, PO, SC, IV, IM, IT) in a stress-free manner, tissue&fliud collection and processing; Proficient experience on necropsy, euthanasia, anesthesia, disease burden measurements, and clinical observation; Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members. Good English writing and reading ability; Demonstrated good ability of self-improvement and innovation; Possess deep inside morality of diligence, ownership, carefulness and dedication spirit. Familiar with IACUC policies and animal welfare regulations.
