Machining Process Technical Leader

Duties and Responsibilities · Supports Engineering Manager and it’s the operative for team management, include organize, Leading, training team members, Cooperating with the PM and Mechanical Technical Leader is responsible for the good project success in term of technical solution, cost and timing impact · Responsibility of Tool and Process technical management in project, Start from project kick-off until the final test in the customer’s plant · Takes part in the phases of offer completion before the final definition, contributing to the optimization of the technical solution · Plans the Tool and Process technical activity within the project (timings, coasts) · Coordinates the internal/external technical activities for the pertaining project · Insures the compliance to the customer's requirements, assuring the use of company standards (products, processes, norms ...) and pointing out the standardization opportunities · Respond professionally, effectively and in a timely manner to any concerns and issues raised by the customer · Insures the achievement of timing, quality and costs targets · Understand and comply with all customer-specific working practices and health and safety requirements · Project guide line and specification preparation for Tools and Process · Contribute to the internal design review to guarantee the quality and the team member alignment on the project · Supports Mechanical Technical Leaders for customer spec, final documentation, U&M manual, training to operators and maintenance team · Supports Engineering Manager to evaluate team member’s performance in project closing phase · Tool Layout and Process Sheet design · Suppliers cutting tools drawing approval · NC Programming and simulation. · on site commissioning support Key Performance Indicators & Measures · Cycle time optimization · Cutting tools cost reduction · Programming and Simulation accuracy Qualifications (Education, Training, Certification, Licenses, Experience) · Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, focused on machining process and cutting tools for cylinder head ,cylinder block and transmission case or other car parts machining line. · Familiar with hydraulic machining fixture, fixture design experience is a plus. · Proficient in CNC and machining process · Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering · Strong calculation skills required · On site commissioning experience required · Mechanical concept design and project management experience required. · CNC programming is a plus Knowledge & Skills · Typical car parts machining process · CNC machine · Cutting Tools · NC programming · Simulation software · Cycle time calculation · Chain dimension calculation · AutoCAD and Solidworks · Trouble-shooting ability · English writing and speaking Behavioral Competencies · Take the ownership · Drive the customer · Coach others · Efficient · Deliver high quality · Be reference for others · Communication · Teamwork · Integrity
