Control Design Engineer(Machining)

Duties and Responsibilities · Open mind and effective communication with other team members such as mechanical engineer, fluid engineer, site commissioner, project manager, site manager etc… · Responsible for PLC software design and commissioning respect the time schedule and quality requirements. · Continuous identifies and shares lessons learned with the team. · Clearly report to CTL and DM periodically. Qualifications (Education,Training, Certification, Licenses, Experience) · Bachelor degree or above mayor in electrical, automation and other related engineering. · At least 5 years non-standard automation field actual working experience. Knowledge & Skills · Fully responsible for checking all the inputs for software design including cycle diagram, hardware drawing, supplier’s specification, control architecture etc. · Follow the cycle diagram and Comau standard software structure to design PLC software. · Fully responsible for the software design and commissioning of third-party equipment or components, such as feeder unit, servo press, tighten spindles, leak test machine, robots. · Write clearly functional description for the assigned machine and continuous update it. · Complete the SW design check list according to customer or Comau’s regulations. · Feedback to other related sides in time such as hardware design engineers, fluid design engineers, mechanical engineers etc. for any related problems found. · Follow the instructions of CTL and software leader to update basic or common function blocks in time. · During the on-line software commissioning, in either Comau shopfloor or customer site, fully respect the time schedule and quality demand to complete the assigned tasks. · Closely work together with mechanical commissioner to get the assigned machine reach PA and FA standard. · During the whole process of software design and commissioning, each activity must be record and can be tracked later. · Giving the software design and commissioning progress report each week to CTL, DM, SM, PM. · Solid knowledge on 840D SL system, be good at NC and safety-integrated commissioning. · Solid knowledge on HMI Pro CS application. · Knowing ASI bus protocol well. · With the basic understanding of chart programming which can easily make manual movements and alarm interface ready.
