About The Role
Work Arrangement This role is categorized as on-site. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to HQ Building in Shanghai, China full time. The Role - The Accounting Operation Analyst will support end-to-end accounting operation including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Disbursement, Intercompany transactions and month-end close activities. This role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely accounting operation and drive process optimization through standardization, automation and AI-enabled ways of working. The candidate should bring strong accounting operation experience, solid knowledge of operational controls and hands-on exposure to finance transformation projects. What You’ll Do - Ensure timely and accurate execution of accounting operation activities, including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Disbursement and intercompany transactions. Perform month-end close activities, reporting packages and reconciliation of AP, AR, accruals, Fixed Assets, Intercompany and other balance sheet accounts. Support internal and external audit requests with timely and accurate data and analysis. Maintain/Monitor sound and effective internal control environment over the financial reporting/business operation. Implement and develop quality control for accounting daily operation. Identify and drive opportunities to simplify, standardize and optimize end-to-end accounting operation processes. Support finance modernization initiatives, leveraging digital tools, automation solutions and AI-enabled approaches to improve efficiency and transparency. Partner with global and local stakeholders to understand business/system requirements and drive end-to-end implementation of finance systems, including requirement alignment, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Provide cross-functional project support and interact closely with cross function teams (e.g. Tax, Treasury, FP&A, HR, and GPSC) to resolve issues and improve process effectiveness. Review/prepare the materials for local and corporate leadership’s review, e.g. quarterly review package, Balance Sheet Review, etc. Maintain up-to-date process documentation and desktop procedure. Other ad hoc tasks and projects based on requirement. Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA required (AICPA preferred). 4–6 years of relevant experience in accounting operation, with hands-on exposure in AP, AR, Cash, Fixed Assets, General Ledger and Intercompany accounting. Strong accounting operation experience, solid knowledge of operational control, and hands-on exposure to finance modernization projects. Process improvement orientation and willingness to challenge inefficient ways of working. Experience with ERP and accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, OneStream or similar platforms. Familiarity with AI tools and practical use cases in finance operation. Practical skills/knowledge in both US GAAP and PRC GAAP and be able to leverage AI tools to perform GAAP research. Self-starter and takes initiative in leading/driving activities. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills and attention to details. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other common office tools. What Can Give You a Competitive Advantage (Preferred Qualifications) Big 4 audit or advisory experience plus in-house finance or accounting operation experience. Coding capability such as Python, SQL, VBA, Power Query or similar tools. Experience leveraging AI to improve accounting operation productivity, streamline workflows and support broader finance process transformation.
