Pipeline Hybrid (Senior) Medical Advisor

Role Purpose 职位目标 The hybrid MA, is a scientific expert who builds long term partnerships with the healthcare community by engaging them across an asset's lifecycle to gather medical insights, support evidence-based understanding of our science, discuss our pipeline, clinical development and data generation strategies, help inform patient care decisions and the development and use of emerging health innovations. Besides, this role will also work with global medical team and local cross functions together to develop strategy. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities主要工作职责 Gather insights on current and future treatment paradigms, patient unmet needs and competitive dynamics that inform research and strategy; partner with matrix colleagues (development, portfolio/commercial, market access, etc.) to ensure strategies and business plans are patient and business focused and adding value to external experts Communicate scientific evidence that advances acknowledgment, understanding and implementation of new healthcare paradigms, and addresses medical unmet needs in line with Strategic Scientific Objectives Foster collaboration between external stakeholders and GSK on research activities including clinical development activities, medical education, and other opportunities that accelerate the future of science and improve patient outcomes Participate in congresses, key activities include gathering insights during engagements and other activities (e.g., symposia), staffing Medical Booths, participating in and supporting execution of advisory boards, and reporting insights after the congress during a scientific report session (if applicable) Respond to unsolicited requests for Medical Information from healthcare providers in a fair, factual, balanced, and scientifically rigorous manner via the appropriate and preferred channel Disseminate important safety information to healthcare professionals as and when this emerges Fully understand and comply with GSK standards and policies and with local codes of practice, guidelines and laws to ensure the strictest requirements are met Provide expert scientific product and disease knowledge and trusted medical leadership to relevant cross functional internal business partners including commercial, regulatory, strategic development, clinical, VEO and GAMA. Develop and implement a local Medical Strategic Plan compliantly in line with GSK standard operating procedures and local codes of practice, guidelines and laws including: Identifying areas of research interest and developing timely local study protocols which advance the scientific understanding of our medications Identifying areas of medical education interest Identifying advisory board/1:1 engagement needs, and leading their implementation and follow-up Ensuring alignment with commercial strategic planning Managing research budget and budget forecasting processes for assigned products and therapy areas Provide scientific strategic input to the regulatory and reimbursement teams to allow GSK to demonstrate the value of GSK products to achieve optimal product labelling, reimbursement outcomes and patient access. Assist in the development, organization, preparation and implementation of training for internal and external audiences on disease knowledge and management. Pharmaceutical industry experience in respective therapy area preferred. Solid grounding in clinical, medical and pharmaceutical science with the ability to rapidly assimilate specific and detailed knowledge in these areas An understanding of clinical development, statistical concepts and analyses Business mindset, understanding of external market dynamics, and ability to balance cross-functional objectives Ability to leverage digital tools to identify & prioritize external stakeholders enhancing overall external engagement Ability to build & maintain trusting relationships with external stakeholders Effective communication & listening skills both in English and mandarin with right level of curiosity, and agility to tailor information to different audiences appropriately Ability to interpret & translate complex scientific data into simple messages in the context of overall patient care Ability to effectively use multi-channel communication tools to engage external stakeholder
