Key Responsibilities】 1. Platform Development o Lead the establishment and optimization of siRNA medicinal chemistry platform, overseeing internal and external nucleic acid chemistry resources to drive technological innovation. o Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing nucleic acid drug discovery team, including strategic planning and talent development. 2. R&D Strategy & Execution o Direct siRNA sequence design, chemical modification strategies, and conjugate technology development to enhance candidate potency, durability, and targeted delivery efficiency. o Lead the chemical design and development of extra-hepatic delivery systems, exploring novel targeting ligands, lipids, and polymers to overcome targeting challenges beyond the liver. o Integrate biological data and bioinformatics analysis for molecular optimization, advancing projects from early discovery to the nomination of Preclinical Candidates (PCC). 3. Cross-functional Collaboration & Project Management o Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Biology, Pharmacology, DMPK, Toxicology, CMC) to coordinate resources and ensure efficient project progression. o Manage external CRO partnerships, overseeing project timelines, budgets, and quality. 4. Intellectual Property & Regulatory Support o Lead the drafting and filing of patents related to nucleic acid therapeutics to build a robust intellectual property portfolio. o Support the preparation of IND enabling documents, ensuring the medicinal chemistry sections meet regulatory requirements. ________________________________________ 【Qualifications】 1. Education o Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Nucleic Acid Chemistry, or a related field. 2. Experience o 3+ years of industry experience in oligonucleotide drug discovery, with a strong preference for candidates who have successfully advanced siRNA projects from early discovery into the clinical stage. o Experience in designing extra-hepatic delivery systems (e.g., novel targeting ligands, LNPs, exosomes) is highly preferred. 3. Technical Skills o Deep expertise in nucleic acid chemical synthesis, modification strategies (e.g., GalNAc conjugation, nucleotide modifications), and delivery technologies. o In-depth understanding of novel delivery system design principles and hands-on experience with extra-hepatic targeting strategies. o Solid understanding of siRNA mechanisms of action, stability optimization, and strategies to mitigate off-target effects. o Keen insight into cutting-edge technologies and industry trends in the oligonucleotide therapeutics field. 4.
